Chick peas and pita bread

Today is the month of October and the whole night it was stormy and rainy. the fall season is making the leaves dry up and fall but some of the tree’s leaves are very yellow and red and dark brown in color. some trees are still green. walking along the sides of the river was amazing. seeing the people walking and holding their hands looks great. the water looks very nice and I saw some trees falling and stone paths with different kinds of flowers and trees. botanical flora looks great. Reaching near the end of the river and sitting on the bench and turning back home was great. Sitting in the car and watching neighborhoods passing and road signs on the highway on the way back. the weather turned much cooler and the wind was healthy and full of oxygen. Drinking matcha chai with Amond milk on the way was delicious and healthy.

Today’s recipe is very simple and very organic. I decided to make chickpeas with pita bread. it’s very healthy and good for the stomach. chickpeas are mainly found in throughout Asian countries and are very delicious. I soaked the chickpeas in water overnight. to make them easy to cook.


2 cups of soaked chickpeas.

2 teaspoons of salt.

Half a cup of pureed tomatoes.

A tablespoon of ginger.

A tablespoon of garlic.

A tablespoon of pepper.

Tablespoon of green chilies.

Tablespoon of oil.

Tablespoon of garam masala powder.


First, take chickpeas and boil them for half an hour in the pressure cooker, then take a deep dish pot and add a tablespoon of oil and onion, garlic, and ginger puree with a tablespoon of chili pepper. cook them on medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown. then add tomato puree and garam masala powder. It’s a blend of Indian spices. cook it for 5 more minutes, then add boiled chickpeas. Mix it well add cook for another 10 minutes. cover it and off the heat and its ready to serve.

pita bread-making recipe

Take 3 cups of all-purpose flour and in a measuring cup add one and a half cups of lukewarm water and 1table spoon of sugar and a packet of yeast. make the dough with this water and yeast solution we made. cover the dough for an hour until it rises up. then after an hour knead the dough and cut it into the equal part and press it to make it pita bread and cook it on a hot plate. serve them with chickpeas we made. it’s delicious and nutritious.

it’s very simple, made with organic ingredients, and very nutritious. I made this with Indian home-style rustic cooking. It’s very saintly and peaceful to eat simple Indian food that is preferred by rural Indians and villagers and even very popular in Indian cities and Indian restaurants. you can serve it with a probiotic yogurt drink and salad on the side with some pickles, which is very healthy. we call it lassi.
