3 super foods

Today is Thursday and weather is all cleared up.  Snow is all melted but its still cold. Its windy outside. I think we are ready for planting our vegetables for spring season in about week or two. Some of our neighbor is jogging in the street. There is a small patch of snow on the grass. You can see grass in front and backyard. I think I am going to write about benefits of Brussel sprouts and Lentils, mixed nuts.

Brussel sprouts

Brussel sprouts are Asian in Origin. They are full of Fiber, Vitamins and antioxidants. Vitamin K, vitamin c, Folate , manganese and Thiamine. Antioxidants helps to reduce stress and remove free radicals; these are part of healthy diet and very good for gut health. Fiber present in it help in digestion and also contains Omega 3 fatty acids. Very good for brain. Adding these to everyday life is good addition to diet.

Lentils

Lentils are originated in Asian countries. They are full of fiber, vitamins, folate. They are good for digestion and contains soluble fiber that reduces cholesterol level that lowers the risk of heart disease. Full of protein and very less carbs helps to build muscles. Good source of energy. Overall, they are good addition to our diet.

Mixed nuts

Mixed nuts are very healthy. eat them every day. They are good source of antioxidants helps in weight loss, lowers cholesterol, reduce inflammation, full of vitamin, magnesium, phosphorous, copper and selenium. Polyphenols and antioxidants help to reduce free radicals they are very versatile.

Over all they are good to add in our daily life.
