Ginger soup

Today is Thursday. As usual I got up and took bath, did my 30 minutes of yoga and minimum 20 more minutes of meditation. Best part about meditation is closing your eyes, sit in Padmasana, close your eyes, and relax your mind. Once you start doing it your mind will calm down itself carry you to the place of peace and vitality. Slowly slowly when we start meditation every day you will see a big difference how our mind is more peaceful, clarity of thoughts, all that stresses goes away. Meditation has tremendous health benefits .It helps to energize our spine ,increases circulation and healthy energy flows through mind and body aligning our body to the ground balancing the whole system creating awareness of our own mind and natural surroundings we live in. what a perfect way to start our day.

First, I will write a turmeric and ginger soup recipe that you guys will love and its delicious and cleanses your palate before meal. Its little bit spicy and give your taste buds beautiful experience with its unique aroma and flavour, and it has tremendous health benefits. Let’s right the recipe thing we want to make sure to buy everything organic and fresh because of springtime and we can find lots of fresh ingredients in springtime. Recipe is as listed below.

• 4 tablespoons of freshly grated ginger
• 1 tablespoon of turmeric
• 1 cup of freshly pureed tomatoes
• Half a teaspoon of salt
• Few sprigs of fresh coriander leaves
• 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Take a pot put it on your stove top on medium heat. Put a tablespoon of coconut oil in it once it melts lower the heat and add ginger first and then toast it a little bit to enhance its aroma and flavour then add turmeric in it then salt and our pureed tomatoes. Mix it well with spoon cover the pot for 5 minutes to cook it on medium heat. uncover the pot and add 2 cups of water, mix it and let it boil then lower the heat to let it cook for 10 more minutes. you can even puree the ginger to make your soup smoother or. you can use dry ginger powder if you do not find fresh ginger. you can smell the aroma of it and you want to savour on it but before we serve it we are going to make it look more appetizing by adding few fresh coriander leaves. Now it is time to savour it and enjoy its health benefits to our body and mind. Let’s talk about its health benefits.
