My Tea Recipe

Organic living – My name is Harjot and I am starting my own blog. I was born in India and fall in love with America and the beautiful people I am living with. I love my family and the neighborhood I am living in currently. I am living in east coast. Weather is turning beautiful and warm. I want to share how I change my life to organic living that we all deserved and can live healthy and beautiful lifestyle. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia few years back. Keeping myself busy at home with gardening and cooking and learning about benefits of organic spices and food for healthy living that makes me live stronger and better life. Some of the benefits of these beautiful spices and foods produced by nature and us humans to sustain and live healthier are listed below. I hope you guys will benefit from these.so we will talk about few of the Indian spices first that are full of goodness and health benefits for our body and soul. Combine them with few yoga poses when you wake up in the morning. Like a morning cup of tea with spices. Smell and fragrance of these spices fill your house with beautiful aroma and feel so soothing. I will share with you guys all the spices I used in a tea recipe. 

list of some of the spices are down below.

  • Cardamoms 2
  • Cloves 2 
  • Cinnamon small stick
  • Fennel seeds a teaspoon
  • Ginger a teaspoon                                                                                   

Boil all the spices in two cups of water for 5 minutes then add two teaspoons of any breakfast tea cover the teapot and let it seep for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes when you pour the tea you will smell the aroma and the perfect color. In a freshly brewed cup of tea add a spoonful of honey and try it with one fourth of a cup of milk in it. You will be surprised how delicious and healthy this morning cup of tea.

  • It boosts immunity because it contains cinnamon and cloves
  • Aids digestion because of fennel seeds
  • Tea contains antioxidants.
  • Relieves cold and flu.
  • Reduces pain and inflammation
  • Helps in weight loss.
  • This could be perfect start of day after we yoga poses.
