Before new year’s eve,I made chickpeas and rice. I made it Indian style. chickpeas are eaten worldwide it’s a kind of lentil. chickpeas are good paring with rice. Indian food is made with Indian spices and is good for health. lots of people in India eat vegetarian food it’s good for health and when people do meditation it makes them calm and feels better. most of the Indian spices we used have medicinal value. I am going to write a recipe for making chickpeas and then rice.
chickpeas

chickpeas are very versatile and a good source of protein and fiber.
Ingredients
1 sliced onion.
A teaspoon of turmeric.
3, 4 cloves of garlic.
A teaspoon of ginger paste.
Teaspoon coriander.
Half a teaspoon of chili powder.
Half teaspoon black pepper.
1tablespoon of salt.
4 tablespoons of tomato puree.
Recipe
Take 2 cups of chickpeas and soak them overnight in water. in the morning time throw the water and then put the deep Indian pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of oil and then onions and ginger and garlic paste. Then cook it for 10 minutes then add tomato puree and the above-mentioned spices. then cook it for another 10 minutes then add boiled chickpeas and add 5 cups of water then cook it for 20 minutes, until it’s ready to eat. it’s very healthy.

RIce
RIce are cultivated worldwide, the rice I used is from an Indian store.
Recipe
Take 2 cups of rice and then wash them and add 4 cups of water and add cook them for 15 minutes, cover the pan during cooking. off the heat. it’s ready to eat. serve it with chickpeas we made. its very nutritious.
