Cumin

Today is Monday. As usual I woke up in the morning and took my bath then I
did my meditation and I came down in the kitchen. Then I make healthy organic
breakfast And I made myself cardamom and cinnamon cup of Irish tea. Then I went
outside to sit near my pool. I spend some time there and after drinking my cup
of tea I came inside. I did my yoga and decided to write another article about
another flavorful spice cumin that has great medicinal value. Cumin is a
ancient spice grown in Egypt and middle east. Cumin was used as a spice even
400 years ago in Syria. It belongs to family Apiaceae and species C. cyminum.
Cumin is the most popular spice in the world. In Indian cuisine it is used as
spice to enhance the flavor of the dishes. in Ayurvedic medicinal system it has
tremendous medicinal value. It contains p-cymene, cavacrol,$-terpineol,
t-anethole, a-pinene and thymbol. I am going to share medicinal value and uses
of the cumin seeds in our daily life.

·      Cumin seeds are very good for digestion and
helps to reduce stomach gas and calms it down.

·      Cumin is good source of iron and other minerals

·      It contains many beneficial plant compounds that
have antioxidant properties.

·      Regular use of cumin helps in weight reduction
and lowers the cholesterol

·      Cumin seed has anticancer properties.

·      Cumin seeds are very good fighting against
bacteria and parasites.

·      Cumin seeds has cooling effect on body. I will
share nice cumin water drink to ease stomach pain.

·      Cumin has anti-inflammatory effect on body specially
asthma patients because it clears respiratory tract and helps in breathing.

·      It helps reduce stress.

·      Regular use of cumin seeds helps in lowering
blood sugar levels.

·      Compounds like cuminaldehyde and terpenoids have
antibacterial and antifungal properties.

·      Use of black cumin seeds extract has anticancer
properties.

·      Cumin seeds are used to cure vomiting and diarrhea.

·      Cumin seeds extract used in relieving pain and swelling.

·      Cumin water helps to detoxify the system.

·      Cumin has anti-carcinogenic properties.

·      Cumin helps in osteoarthritis.

·      Jeera water helps to reduce iron deficiency.

·      Jeera water helps to flush out the toxins from
the body and helps to produce digestive enzymes.

 I am going to write a jeera water recipe. Jeera is called cumin in English.

·      1 tablespoon of cumin seeds

·      3 cups of water

·      1 lemon

·      One fourth of tablespoon of Himalayan salt.

Take a pot and put one tablespoon of cumin in water. Then boil the water
with cumin seeds for 5 minutes. Then take it off the heat squeeze one lemon and
put one fourth of tablespoon of Himalayan salt in it. cool it down and drink
that water every day before breakfast to get full benefits. you will be
surprised to see how good this is for digestion and stomach. It will reduce
belly fat and help to lose weight. I am going to write about another beneficial
